PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hysteresis comparator which does not malfunction even if the operation speed is increased. SOLUTION: The hysteresis comparator has a comparator 4 which compares an input voltage Va with the standard voltage Vb; and a hysteresis circuit 5 which generates a first constant electric current I1, maintains the standard voltage Vb if the input voltage Va is lower than the standard voltage Vb, and decreases the standard voltage Vb corresponding to the first constant electric current I1 if the input voltage Va exceeds the standard voltage Vb. In addition, the hysteresis comparator also has a current supply circuit 6 which adds an electric current to the first constant electric current I1 in a fixed period after the input voltage Va exceeded the standard voltage Vb.
