PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal capable of stably emitting output sound without sacrificing miniaturization and thickness reduction regardless of an opposed position of an ear pinna of a user at an ear piece part. SOLUTION: The portable terminal is provided with a casing housing a display part 5 and a receiving speaker 6, the ear piece part 20 for catching the output sound from the receiving speaker 6, first/second sound emitting parts 8, 9 for guiding the output sound from the receiving speaker 6 to the ear piece part 20, a sound guiding hole 26 for making the first/second sound emitting parts 8, 9 communicate with each other, and a screen 12 for protecting the display part 5. The first sound emitting part 8 is formed at the position opposite to a face 6a for mainly generating the output sound in the receiving speaker 6. The second sound emitting part 9 is formed to an adjacent part of the position opposite to the face 6a for mainly generating the output sound in the receiving speaker 6. The sound guiding hole 26 is formed by the covering of a groove part 23, which is formed on the casing so as to connect the first/second sound emitting parts 8, 9, with the screen 12.
