PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a thermistor capable of maintaining a sufficiently low room temperature resistance value even after receiving a thermal hysteresis. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the thermistor comprises a process to obtain a laminate 10 having a thermistor elemental body pinched between a pair of metal foils 2a, 2b by heating a resin composite layer containing a resin and conductive particles, under the condition that the resin composite layer containing resin and conductive particles is pinched between the pair of metal foils 2a, 2b; and a process for cutting out the thermistors from the laminate 10 while grooves 20 are formed on surfaces of a side by which at least one of the resin composite layer between the pair of metal foils 2a, 2b is pinched.
