PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the possibility that the log information required to analyze failures might not be stored properly. SOLUTION: A log management module 10 temporarily stores the log information acquired in a buffer and writes the stored log information in a disk device 30a. When an error with a computer is detected from the log information, the log management module 10 inhibits further writing to a disk 30a in which log data prior to the detection of the error is written, and the destination of the log data is changed to another disk 30b so that the log data after the detection of the error is written on the disk 30b.
