PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide eaves capable of being brightened by permeating the sunlight through the eaves plate in the daytime, obtaining an excellent beauty day and night and sufficiently taking an advantage of using a plate material having translucency like a plate glass as the eaves plate. SOLUTION: The eaves 1 are supported by inserting the base end section of the plate glass 2 as the eaves plate inside of a supporting frame 3 mounted on an external wall surface of a building and, at the same time, two places of the plate glass 2 are respectively suspended by arms 4 and 4.
