PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece, equipped with a chronograph mechanism having a new design and an automatic winding mechanism, capable of being miniaturized and thinned, using a simple structure that is equipped with chronograph mechanism and automatic winding mechanism. SOLUTION: This timepiece 10 is equipped with an external operation member, the automatic winding mechanism and the chronograph mechanism. The automatic winding mechanism is equipped with a rotary weight 130 and an automatic winding gear train. The chronograph mechanism is equipped with an hour chronograph wheel 85, a minute chronograph wheel 90, a second chronograph wheel 95, and a chronograph operation mechanism that moves sequentially with the external operation member. The external operation member is equipped with a winding crown 11 and operation buttons 20, 30. When being halved by a straight line passing the plane center of the timepiece 10, the hour chronograph wheel 85, the minute chronograph wheel 90 and the second chronograph wheel 95 are arranged on the same divided position as a divided position, where the winding crown 11 and the operation buttons 20, 30 are arranged.
