PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in controlling air flow of an air conditioner that when a lateral blade block is pulled forward by mistake, the lateral blade block is removed from a bearing portion of a vertical blade, and fingers may reach a blower fan. SOLUTION: This wind direction changing device comprises a supporting bar 10 connecting and supporting a plurality of lateral blades 13 controlling the air flow of the air conditioner, oscillatably in the lateral direction, and having a first shaft portion 11 on a prescribed position, and the bearing portion 9 extending from the vertical blade 8, and having a supporting hole 9a for rotatably supporting the first shaft portion 11 of the supporting bar 10. A second shaft portion 12 is mounted on the supporting bar 10 in parallel with the first shaft portion 11 to hold the bearing portion 9, and the separation of the lateral blade block can be prevented by making a back face of the bearing portion and the second shaft portion interfere with each other.
