PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe suspension tool capable of accurately performing centering of a hook and efficiently and safely conducting conveying work of a steel pipe. SOLUTION: Laser distance sensors 21a, 21b are positioned so as to be symmetrical on right and left sides sandwiching a centerline 20a of the hook 20, and the hook 20 is moved such that a difference between measured distances by the distance sensors 21a, 21b is within a predetermined range.
