PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide front and rear compatible stands capable of reasonably operating a front stand interlocked with a rear stand and not forming an obstacle for traveling by the front stand. SOLUTION: In the front and rear compatible stands for the bicycle, the double-leg type rear stand 1 and the front stand 2 are mounted to the rear wheel side and the front wheel side of the bicycle, respectively. When the rear stand 1 and the front stand 2 are interlocked and connected, and the rear stand 1 is stood so as to float up the rear wheel, a support member 2e of the front stand 2 is outwardly projected to establish ground contact. A connection rod 2b for connecting both leg pillars 2a of the front stand 2 is rearwardly extended so as to avoid the ground contact part of the front wheel when the front stand 2 is stood. A width at a central side is made to a narrow shape such that it is not interfered by a mud guard of the front wheel when the front stand 2 is jumped up and it is not interfered by a vehicle body frame at the turning of a handle.
