PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high quality "front panel device of an on-vehicle apparatus" capable of stably and favorably performing an opening operation of a movable nose irrespective of environment temperature. SOLUTION: In the front panel device, the movable nose 2 disposed at the front part of a main body device 1 is turned in the opening/closing direction between an uprising position and a side-lying position. When a tension coil spring 10 which locks a rear end part 10b on the support shaft 11 of the main body device 1 side is provided by locking the front end part 10a on the connecting pin 4a of the movable nose 2 side, and the movable nose 2 is in the uprising position, the front end part 10a is positioned on the straight line P connecting the support shaft 3 of the turning fulcrum of the movable nose 2 and the rear end part 10b of the tension coil spring 10 to set that the front end part 10a of the tension coil spring 10 gradually departs from the straight line P along with the turning of the movable nose 2 in the opening direction.
