An earth retaining structure of a foundation in an apartment house is provided to restrict collapse of an earth retaining plate, and to prevent accidents by inserting and supporting the earth retaining plate to a steel rod and diagonally mounting a support bar in an upper part of the steel rod. An earth retaining structure includes a steel rod(200) driven into the ground and provided with a bolt part(210) combined with a screw member(250), an earth retaining plate(300) having a circular post(310) and a semicircular post(320) and penetrating the circular post and the semicircular post by the steel rod, and a support bar having a rectangular bar(410) provided with a rectangular hole(412) and placed in an upper part of the earth retaining plate, a gap adjusting bar(420) inserted to the rectangular bar, moved to the right and the left and combined with a fixing bar(430) through a lower bolt hole(422), the fixing bar provided with a bolt part(432) combined with the bolt hole of the gap adjusting bar, inserted to the circular post of the earth retaining plate and fixed to the steel rod. A screw(252) and a steel rod assembling groove(254) are formed in the screw member, and the fixing bar is inserted to the screw groove of the steel rod.
