<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane-electrode assembly holding a constant water in an electrolyte membrane even when high current is produced as well as in a usual state, preventing the generation of internal stress, and also preventing the cross leak of reaction gas, and also to provide a fuel cell equipped with the membrane-electrode assembly, and the manufacturing method of the electrolyte membrane. <P>SOLUTION: The membrane-electrode assembly (MEA) 50 has an anode 30 on one surface and a cathode 20 on the other surface, the electrolyte membrane 1 has an electrolyte part 10 and a moisture transfer part 11 mixed to the electrolyte part 10 and transferring moisture, the moisture transfer part 11 is exposed to the cathode surface, and the anode side of the moisture transfer part 11 is covered with the electrolyte part 10 without exposing to the surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
