<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacle lens made of plastic in which thermal resistance is improved. <P>SOLUTION: The spectacle lens is characterized in that it has a lens base material, has antireflection films on the surface of the object side and a surface on the eyeball side of the lens base material, the antireflection film provided on the surface on the object side has compressive stress and the antireflection film provided on the surface of the eyeball side has compressive stress smaller than that of the antireflection film provided on the surface of the object side. When the compressive stress is high, the thermal resistance becomes high, however, productivity is lowered. Consequently, both the thermal resistance and the productivity are achieved by forming the antireflection film having high compressive stress on the surface of the object side and forming the antireflection film having the compressive stress smaller than that on the surface of the object side on the surface of the eyeball side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
