COUPLER FOR MEDICAL INSTRUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupler for a medical instrument which can be rotatably and liquid-tightly connected with a medical tube by attaching and detaching it to and from a liquid port of the medical instrument easily, which has simple structure and which is disposable.

SOLUTION: The coupler for a medical instrument consists of a coupler part 30, a connector part 40 and a locking part 50. The coupler part 30 has: an outer cylinder 32 which can be connected with the liquid port; an inner cylinder 33 housed in the outer cylinder 32; and a coupling plate 1 for coupling the inner wall intermediate part of the outer cylinder 32 and the outer wall of the inner cylinder 33 air-tightly. The connector part 40 consists of a hollow tube having a projecting stopper 42 outside of its intermediate part and is connected rotatably and liquid-tightly when it is inserted to the inside of the inner cylinder 33. The locking part 50 is constituted as a removal prevention member of the coupler part 30 and the connector part 40.
