PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator rack which adopts a current condition of cantilever rack technology while applying novel and progressive changes thereto.
SOLUTION: The rack is formed of a tempered glass panel to be joined to the opposed flanges of a pair of metal rack brackets. Each rack bracket has a hook mounted on a vertical mounting rod in a refrigerator chamber and adjusted therealong. Adhesive is a sole means for holding the rack in a firmly integrated condition. Each rack bracket includes at least one contact face for abutting on the end of the rack panel or a gripping member to ensure complete alignment between components. Each rack bracket is constituted by one rack arm and at least one flange, the flange having a pocket in which the adhesive is put. The rack arm may additionally include a protruded portion of an uppermost layer and/or at least one additional flange for abutting on the side end of the rack panel. Thus, a side end portion of the rack panel is stored between a set of flanges of each rack bracket spaced in the vertical direction and offset toward the depth.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
|
