摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an electric power steering device free to carry out steering assistance favorably in responsibility by predicting timing requiring steering assisting force and boosting electric power source voltage by working a booster circuit in advance. SOLUTION: This electric power steering device has a navigation device 23 to inform position information of a self vehicle and road information of the forwarding direction and a control device 22 characteristically starts boosting voltage of a battery 25 by the booster circuit 24 when the navigation device 23 detects a curve in the forwarding direction of the vehicle.
