PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transformer which facilitates connection of a coil terminal to a substrate even if a wire to be made as a coil is thick, and which can be manufactured comparatively inexpensively without danger of transformer inclination relative to the substrate. SOLUTION: A plastic mold 5A comprises a through-hole 10 through which a pin terminal 4 is inserted, and a through-hole 11 through which a coil terminal is inserted. The pin terminal 4 is inserted through the plastic mold 5A, and the plastic mold 5A is mounted on a bobbin 2. The coil terminal 2a is inserted through a through-hole 7 and aligned. The pin terminal 4 provided in the bobbin 1 is then inserted through the through-hole 10 provided on a substrate 9 and the coil terminal 2a is inserted through the through-hole 11.
