PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve a problem wherein it is troublesome for a user to confirm which USB class activated mode has a USB apparatus at USB cable connection, and actually, a lot of labor of the user is required such as having the user confirm that the USB apparatus is not in a desired USB class after temporary connection, temporarily stop connection, change the USB class by a menu, and carry out connection anew. SOLUTION: In a dual roll device apparatus carrying out exchange of information in conformity with an OTG specification by using a USB interface, when operating it as a USB device, operation as the USB device is changed in accordance with whether a shape of a plug connected to the apparatus is a plug A or a plug B.
