PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such control of an opening/closing body as to enable the securement of the original function, of opening/closing an opening, of the opening/closing body, and control the opening/closing body, and the securement of the reliability of the detection of an overload, after the detection of the overload. SOLUTION: This control unit comprises a driving means for the opening/closing body, an output control means, an overload detecting means, an overload detecting means for detecting the overload of the driving means, and an overload-detecting-position storage means for detecting and storing a position of the opening/closing body in the detection of the overload. The output control means comprises an output increasing means and an output decreasing means. When the overload is detected in the opening/closing of the opening/closing body, the output increasing means increases output by increasing a margin by a predetermined amount in a prescribed near area including an overload detecting position. In the presence or absence of the detection of the overload, the output decreasing means decreases the increased output so that the margin can be an initial value in an area with the margin exceeding the initial value, except for the prescribed near area including the latest overload detecting position.
