PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aseismatic reinforcing structure of a building improving workability and compatibility to existing skeleton dimensions with simple steel plate aseismatic members. SOLUTION: In an opening R surrounded by columns and beams of the building, a steel plate reinforcing member 1 comprises steel plates 2 formed in the same size of approximately square shape, and reinforcing ribs 3 formed of channel steel arranged intersecting each other in a state of clamping the steel plates 2 from both sides so as to be back to back with the channel side facing outside. The steel plates 2 and the reinforcing ribs 3 are integrally connected by connecting bolts 4.
