PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide easily splittable conjugate fiber having such physical properties as to be suitable for enabling presenting high-density woven fabrics excellent in windbreaking tendency, softness and dyeability. SOLUTION: The splittable conjugate fiber is composed of a polylactic acid-based and easily degradable polyester A and a polytrimethylene terephthalate-based polyester B, wherein the polyester A occupies at least part of the fiber surface.
