PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a simple and inexpensive device for removing dross without any possibility of causing scuff marks. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a guide blade 3 in close contact with a plating bath surface within the snout and swivelable at one of both ends in the transverse direction of a metallic strip, is equipped with a suction opening 4 for sucking the dross at the other end, is installed together with a jet nozzle 2 for jetting reducing gas preferably at the guide blade 3 and makes the suction opening 4 swivelable.
