摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid catalytic component for polymerizing an olefin, which produces a polyolefin in which a fine powder polymer having≤45μm particle diameter hardly exists, in a high yield and to provide a polymerization method using a polymerization catalyst containing the catalytic component. SOLUTION: The catalytic component for polymerizing an olefin is prepared by bringing a small amount of a halogenating agent into contact with a suspension of a magnesium compound in an inert organic solvent liquid at a normal temperature to give a product and reacting the product with a tetravalent titanium halide compound and an electron donative compound.
