PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition containing a polyglycerol fatty acid ester excellent in cleaning power and having a high foaming power. SOLUTION: This detergent composition containing a triglycerol fatty acid ester is provided by having a 10 or 12C fatty acid constituting the triglycerol fatty acid ester, and it is possible to obtain the detergent composition excellent in cleaning power and having the high foaming power by making the content of the triglycerol fatty acid diester at or less than a specific value as compared with the content of the triglycerol fatty acid monoester in the triglycerol fatty acid ester composition.
