摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for counting the number of complete virus particles in an eluate specimen. SOLUTION: The method for counting the number of complete virus particles in an eluate specimen obtained by a chromatographic operation comprises (a) a step to prepare a standard curve of the number of virus particles at a selected absorbance, (b) a step to perform chromatography on the specimen containing virus particles by using an anion exchange resin, (c) a step to monitor the chromatography in the step (b) at the selected absorbance and (d) a step to compare the absorbance value obtained by the step (c) with the standard curve obtained by the step (a) and determine the total number of the virus particles in the eluate specimen.
