PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable seedling transplanter with a totally compact machine body by improving constitution of driving means driving a seedling taking out device A which takes out seedlings on a seedling tray 36. SOLUTION: The vegetable seedling transplanter comprises a seedling feeder 32 feeding a great number of seedling holder bodies 29 to a seedling transplanting device B through an elliptic path in horizontal direction of the machine body in a plane view, a seedling tray conveyer C conveying seedling trays 36 set with a great number of seedling pots 69, the seedling taking out device A taking out the seedlings of the seedling tray 36 and feeding to the seedling holder bodies 29, a driving shaft 53a transmitting driving force to the seedling taking out device A extended from a transmitting device 12 which transmits driving force to the seedling feeder 32 or seedling transplanting device B, installed as passing inside of surrounding path of the seedling feeder 32 from downward to the upward.
