A folding cellular phone 1 has a status detection unit 20 which detects whether the folding cellular phone 1 is in a folded status or an opened status, a memory 21 which holds information to respond to an incoming call by opening the folding cellular phone 1 , and a control unit 17 which, if an incoming call is detected when the folding cellular phone is in the folded status, in a case where information on the incoming call is stored in the memory, responds to the incoming call if the status detection unit 20 detects that the folding cellular phone has moved to the opened status.
