The roll-off container for exchangeable body vehicles, especially fire service vehicles, comprises a body consisting of an encompassing floor frame (1), stiffened by welded-in floor cross supports (2), and an encompassing roof frame (7) which is welded to the floor frame by corner posts (5) and center posts (6), and stiffened by welded-in roof cross supports (8). The roof frame, the corner posts and center posts, and also the floor and roof cross supports consist of sections which are open at the bottom or side as the case may be. The whole body is lacquered for corrosion protection.
