A ROM (nonvolatile storage unit (152)) stores in advance, converted image data (290) and an initial operation image (224) not subjected to data conversion. After the data is subjected to data conversion (compression, encryption, and the like) in logical block unit, one or more logical blocks are collected into a physical block of a predetermined size and stored in a nonvolatile storage unit (152). When a first access is made to a logical block which does not spread data, all the logical blocks contained in the physical block containing the block are spread all at once (the data which ahs been subjected to conversion is subjected to reverse conversion to obtain the original data). Thus, only one access to the physical block is sufficient. That is, it is possible to perform effective memory management and high-speed start of the computer system.
|
