<p>A transmitting method comprising the steps of adding together receiver identification information and CRC multiplication data; subjecting non-CRC multiplication data to CRC coding to generate CRC check bits; multiplying the added receiver identification information and CRC multiplication data by the CRC check bits; adding together a result of the multiplication and the non-CRC multiplication data; and subjecting the added multiplication result and non-CRC multiplication data to FEC coding to generate a transport signal; and transmitting the transport signal to a receiver.</p>
