摘要 A safety device for an outlet buried in an inner wall of a building is provided to close an outlet when the outlet is not used, and automatically open the outlet at the same time when a plug is inserted into a terminal insertion hole of the outlet. A safety device for an outlet(10) includes an outlet connector(100) inserted into a plug insertion hole(11) of the outlet and a plug connector fixed to the front side of the plug. The outlet connector includes an outlet connector case having first terminal holes(111) formed at the front and rear sides and guide grooves formed at both inner sides, a slide plate held by the guide grooves and slid, and a first magnet(130) fixed to the front side of the slide plate. The slide plate further includes second terminal holes corresponding to the first terminal holes. The plug connector includes a plug connector case having third terminal holes corresponding to plug terminals, and a second magnet located at a predetermined position of the plug connector case to correspond to the first magnet. The contact face of the second magnet and the plug connector case has the same polarity as the first magnet. When the plug is inserted into the outlet, the slide plate is slid upward by repulsion of the first and second magnets such that the second terminal holes correspond to the first terminal holes. When the plug is ejected from the outlet, the slide plate is dropped by gravity such that the first terminal holes are closed by the slide plate.
