<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in printing hyper text associated through link information wherein the order of print outputs are determined as the order of file units by the order of text files displayed and outputted, because a print instruction is performed after text which is the print object is downloaded and displayed on an external device, and print data are then transmitted to a printer and printed. <P>SOLUTION: This system comprises means capable of storing print data received from an external device in a storage within the printer and selectively performing, for data referred to of the received print data, a download, storage, print page designation, print order designation or the like to perform printing. The system further comprises means storing received data or download data in a reusable format within the printer and updating external reference data.
