LINEAR LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear light source device capable of preventing a decrease in the luminance of a backlight by restraining the curvature of a long substrate even against a temperature change and applying uniform light to a light guide plate.

SOLUTION: The linear light source device 1 comprises the long substrate 2; a plurality of light-emitting devices 3 arranged along the longitudinal direction of the substrate 2; a reflector 4 that reflects light emitted in the longitudinal direction from the light-emitting device 3 in an emission direction F and is arranged alternately with the light-emitting device 3; and a resin-sealing section 5 for sealing the light-emitting device 3 with resin. In the linear light source device 1, the substrate 2 is integral with the reflector 4, and a wiring pattern 6 for making continuity with each light-emitting device 3 for connection is formed on an inclined surface 4a for reflecting light emitted from the light-emitting device 3 in the reflector 4.
