摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly materialize improvement of transient responsiveness and improvement of fuel economy by optimally controlling an engine and a motor considering restriction of motor assist quantity. <P>SOLUTION: When power unit demand torque TDMND exceeds assistable minimum torque TDMIN and rapidly increases, motor assist torque TAM is rapidly increased in a range not exceeding a motor torque maximum value, and then the motor assist torque is reduced as change rate limit value rises. On the other hand, engine instruction torque TEG is set to instruction torque subtracted with assist composition by assistable minimum torque TDMIN at a beginning, and then, the engine instruction torque is gradually increased together with reduction of the motor assist torque TAM. Consequently, response delay of the engine is compensated by motor assist torque TAM and motor assist is limited to a necessary minimum limit to prevent deterioration of fuel economy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
