PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in size of a manufacturing device for fabricating a large-screen display device using a gas discharge tube having a phosphor and a discharge gas sealed in a thin glass tube, and to improve yields and so on. SOLUTION: A plurality of gas discharge tubes are arranged to form a row, with a space or a buffer layer provided between ends of the plurality of discharge tubes to prevent damage caused by contact between the ends of adjacent gas discharge tubes in the same row.
