PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable and folding type cart compacted by folding a support plate itself to an ultimate size when not used while increasing support strength and expanded in developing. SOLUTION: A support unit has the support plate 21 to have a maximum area in a developed state and a caster 40 rotatably supported by the support plate in the portable and folding type cart 1. The support plate has a base plate 22 connected with the other end of a connection member, a plurality of movable states 30, 31 which are respectively rotatably connected with the base plate through hinge parts, operation mechanism 50 supported by the base and locking respective movable plates to keep developed in an operation position and marking respective movable plates ready to fold by unlocking them in a non-operating position, and movable bottom plates 60, 61 supported to be freely taken in and out of notches through respective hinges provided at inner edges of the notches formed on respective movable plates.
