PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated thermoplastic resin film roll reduced in optical flaw, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The laminated thermoplastic resin film roll is constituted by providing a coating layer, which contains a copolyester resin or a resin component containing the copolyester resin and a polyurethane resin and particles, at least on one side of a base material being a thermoplastic resin film and characterized in that the content of foreign matter with a long diameter of 0.3 mm or above based on the resin component and particles of the coating layer is 30/100 m<SP>2</SP>or below. The laminated thermoplastic resin film roll is manufactured by filtering a copolyester resin solution subjected to the preparation of a coating solution in a coating process by a filter having a filter particle size of 0.5-10μm under a condition of a liquid temperature of 15-below 35°C and heating the filtered solution to 50-below 70°C to filter the same by the filter having the filter particle size of 0.5-10μm under the condition of the liquid temperature of 15-below 35°C.
