Inner casing of a turbomachine comprising a heat shield

The case has a set of annular shells (23) with clamps (24) connecting two adjacent shells between them. Each shell encloses circumferentially a respective disc equipped with a blade. A thermal shield (5) covers the clamps and has a set of sectors which are identical and assembled end to end. A cavity (6) filled with a heat insulating material is placed between an internal concave surface of the shield and the clamps. An independent claim is also included for a turbine engine equipped with an internal wheel case.
