An organic electroluminescent display device is provided to prevent deterioration of image quality by partially or wholly eliminating a boss from a transparent moisture absorbing film. An organic electroluminescent display device includes a substrate(300) with an organic electroluminescent device formed thereon, and a sealing substrate(500) sealing the device on the substrate. A transparent moisture absorbing film(600) is formed on one surface of the sealing substrate. A boss is formed on the transparent moisture absorbing film, and has 0.5 times thinner than a thickness of the transparent moisture absorbing film.
