The invention relates to an H2-O2 fuel cell system for a submarine, which comprises at least one electric propeller motor, a set of batteries, a charge generator with a drive, a power supply system with busbars, and switching and automation devices. The fuel cell system, in accordance with the demand, generates electric energy that is fed to an energy transmission system. The fuel cell system is configured as a PEM system and supplies especially electric energy on the voltage level of the energy transmission system. The PEM system is constituted of fuel cell modules that are shock-proof and that are supplied with oxygen and hydrogen via shock-proof connections. |
