A shape-measuring device (1) measures the shape of a to-be-measured object (1), formed by aligning and joining segments, while relatively moving the object (1) in one direction. The shape-measuring device has rollers (31), measuring means (35), and calculation means (37). The rollers (31) are provided so as to correspond to each row of the segments, where each roller (31) rolls on an end face (1a) of the object (1) as the object (1) is relatively moved, and, while rolling, each roller (31) is displaced, following undulations of the end face (1a). The measuring means (35) is provided so as to correspond to each roller (31) and measures the amount of displacement of the roller (31). The calculation means (37) calculates shape data of the object (1) based on the displacement amount of the roller (31) measured by the measuring means (35). The shape-measuring device (1) can accurately and quickly measure the shape of an object such as a DPF where segments are joined in a row-like form.
