Provided are a tire rim flange rubber composition which is improved in viscosity characteristics and processability and is enhanced in reinforcement, and a tire containing the rubber comprising the composition. The tire rim flange rubber composition comprises 3-5 parts by weight of quinonediimine based on 100 parts by weight of a rubber material. Preferably the quinonediimine has a molecular weight of 500-10,000. Preferably the rubber material is selected from a natural rubber, a synthetic rubber or a mixture of a natural rubber and a synthetic rubber in a ratio of 1:9 to 9:1. |
