<p>The method involves scanning the subsoil in the working direction before and laterally from the momentary mowing head (2) by a contact-less working sensor. Signals detected by the contact-less sensor are supplied to a controller. The height and the tilting positions are changed around a horizontal tilting axis that is lying in the working direction, by the controller. The height and tilting position change takes place under the consideration of the momentary speed of the mowing head. An independent claim is also included for a mowing head guided at free ends of cantilever arm with a scanning device for the subsoil.</p> |
