Provided are a tread rubber composition for a studless snow tire which is improved in heat generation characteristics and processability and is reduced in viscosity, and a studless snow tire containing the tread comprising the composition. The tread rubber composition comprises 2-10 parts by weight of a composite comprising a natural rubber and an aramid fiber based on 100 parts by weight of a rubber material. Preferably the composite comprises 60-80 wt% of a natural rubber; and 20-40 wt% of an aramid fiber. Preferably the rubber material is selected from a natural rubber, a synthetic rubber or a mixture of a natural rubber and a synthetic rubber; and the composite has a particle size of 1-2 mm. |
