A plasma display apparatus is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost and a molding cost and to simplify a manufacturing process by forming a chassis base with a synthetic resin. A plasma panel(103) is used for displaying images. A chassis base(109) is formed of a synthetic resin in order to support the plasma panel. A circuit unit(110) is installed on a rear surface of the chassis base in order to be electrically connected with the plasma panel. A metal sheet(140) is installed between the plasma panel and the chassis base in order to perform a grounding function. The metal sheet thin film has an extension longer than the chassis base. An adhesive filter(160) is attached on an upper surface of the plasma panel.
