A front end module having a case and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to minimize a contact area between a bent portion of the case and a substrate by adhering a flat portion to an upper surface of a SAW filter. A front end module includes a ceramic substrate(70) printed with a circuit pattern, an SAW(Surface Acoustic Wave) filter(74) mounted on the ceramic substrate and having an upper surface made of conductive material, a metal case(78) covering the SAW filter. The metal case has a flat portion(78a) and a bent portion(78b) bent from the flat portion. The flat portion is adhered to an upper surface of the SAW filter by a solder. The bent portion is adhered to a metal pad formed on the substrate at a position corresponding to the bent portion.
