FIELD: fire retardant compositions and pastes, in particular for protection of electric cables, cable bunches, and cable lines. ^ SUBSTANCE: claimed composition contains (mass %): intercalated graphite 35.0-65.0; kaolin 0.5-3.0; aerosil 1.0-4.0; chloroparaffin 3.0-12.0; ammonium polyphosphate 1.0-4.0; and balance: chloroprene rubber. Claimed paste contains 30-50 % of abovementioned composition, and balance: solvent.
