FIELD: wind-power engineering; vortex wind-power plants equipped with converging passages. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed wind-power plant has windwheel mounted in tube at the top and provided with vertical axle; windwheel is kinematically linked with energy converter in form of electric generator; converging passages are arranged in tiers; they are arranged in each tier spirally around vertical axle and helically along it. Narrowed sections of passages form vortex flow zone. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; enhanced steadiness of vortex flow with no break-away due to dense and laminar flow. ^ 16 cl, 5 dwg |
