A hot water washing device for sweet pepper designed to successively, automatically wash sweet pepper(Capsicum annuum, L.) with hot water to remove microorganisms, dust and the like attached to the sweet pepper, dry and discharge it is provided. The device improves washing efficiency, saves labor and enables mass production. The hot water washing device for sweet pepper consists of: an inlet part(1) with a hopper(10) to send sweet pepper to a washing part(3) by a lugged inclined conveyor(20); the washing part with a first washing part(30) to perform first washing by the rotation of a rotary brush while spraying room temperature water and a second washing part(40) to perform second washing by the rotation of a rotary brush while spraying hot water; a drying part(5) with a first drying part(50) to dry moisture by injection of air from an air curtain(54) and a moisture-proof roller(52) and a second drying part(60) to dry by a hot air heater(62); and a discharge part(7). The second drying part contains a belt conveyor(64) and a hot air heater with a fan and a heater.
