An organic electroluminescence element and a driving method thereof are provided to make sub pixels generate the same luminance for the same data current by setting different discharge levels for each sub pixel. An organic electroluminescence element includes a panel(200) having plural sub pixels formed in luminescent regions where data lines(D1~D6) and scan lines(S1~S5) cross each other and comprising red sub pixels(E11~E15,E41~E45), green sub pixels(E21~E25,E51~E55), and blue sub pixels(E31~E35,E61~E65); a data storage unit(204) for storing RGB(Red, Green, Blue) data input from the outside; and a discharge unit(206) for discharging first sub data lines corresponding to the red sub pixels of the data lines, second sub data lines corresponding to the green sub pixels, and third sub data lines corresponding to the blue sub pixels, according to the RGB data supplied from the data storage unit.
